PVT - Private Entry level rank - all new recruits obtain this when they join the clan. No duties associated with this rank. n/a
PFC - Private First Class First promotion above Private; Obtaining this rank demonstrates that the soldier is serious about being a clan member. No duties associated with this rank. Achieving this rank can be done simply by showing up to either team meetings or game scrims (or both) at least once per week.
LCPL - Lance Corporal Highest rank for enlisted personnel - obtaining this rank shows that the soldier is interested in more than just playing on the server, and wants more involvement with the clan. No particular duties for this rank, however, the soldier should be offering to help where able, and consider what responsibilities he is up to handling. To achieve this rank, show up for team meetings and scrims more than once a week, and provide at least one constructive post to the forum per week.

CPL - Corporal First rank past Enlisted - you are now considered an enlisted soldier with limited authority as granted by a commissioned officer (2LT or higher). Duties here mainly include the guidance and support of the enlisted soldiers (LCPL and below). To achieve this rank, one must demonstrate beginning leadership abilities, while remaining capable of carrying out specific instructions.
SGT - Sergeant Similar to a Corporal, with a higher degree of leadership demonstrated. Sergeants key supporters and moral builders. Regular participation with the clan both on and off the battlefield is expected. Keep the troops rallied. Achieving this rank can be done simply by showing up to either team meetings or game scrims (or both) at least once per week.


 
Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) Rank Structure:

SSGT - Staff Sergeant This rank refers to any soldier that can hold his on the battlefield; considered to be a slightly "above-average" soldier. Staff Sergeants shall be the pillars of moral and support for lower ranks. Support for keeping the troops in high spirits will come from working with Sergeants. Conduct basic training for new recruits. Achieving this rank is done by regular clan participation, but also a strong motivation factor for the lower ranks to respect and fall in line with.
GSGT - Gunnery Sergeant Soldiers of this rank are ones that show strong discipline and talent in general infantry roles on the battlefield. While not considered a master of each weapon, a GSGT should be able to at least point out the basics of each weapon to the lower ranks. Achieving this rank is done by regular clan participation, and showing expertise in the field of artillery (all forms). Showing ability and desire to both assist w/ scrim/match strats and lead a small squad (chalk) on a specialized mission (this position is promoted to either 1SGT or MSGT depending on where strongest skills are).
MSGT - Master Sergeant Field leader.
Master Sergeants provide technical leadership as occupational specialists of both land and sea weaponry.

 

Regular attendance, as well as the ability to guide the clan and keep lower ranks organized when assisting an officer. Lead squads through the most difficult situations. Meet w/ 1SGT's & SGTMJ's to fully understand scrim/match strats. Achieving this rank is done by regular clan participation, and showing expertise with all-around forms of land and sea based weaponry. Fight closely w/ the men it is leading and excel in the art of infantry (this position trains to advance to MGS).
1SGT - First Sergeant Personnel/strategy Leader.
The First Sergeant rank are command-oriented, with Marines of this rank serving as the senior enlisted Marines in a unit.
Charged to assist the commanding officer in matter of discipline, administration and the morale and welfare of the unit, as well as help resolve disputes with clan members. Ability to lead squads when no MSGT is available. Assist SGTMJ w/ strats and tactics development and basic training program development. To obtain this rank, a soldier must show very strong leadership abilities, and be able to assist a commanding officer with any task assigned. Excellent communication with MSGT and/or MGSGT on game strats (this position trains to advance to SGTMJ).
MGSGT - Master Gunnery Sergeant Senior Field Leader.
Master Gunnery Sergeants provide technical leadership as occupational specialists in all forms of weaponry: land, sea, and air. Considered equal rank with SGTMJ (the left hand).
Soldiers of this rank are expected to be very active members in the clan, in particular, lead squads to dominate the opposition. Excel at squad leadership. Be lethal w/ any weapon acquired. MGSGTs are expected to command the field as the match warrants. Must be one of the "best of the best" in the field, and demonstrate the ability to lead lower ranks through a battle. Knowledge and expertise of all weaponry is a must. Can be promoted to officer from this rank.
SGTMJ - Sergeant Major Senior Personnel/strategy Leader.
Sergeant Majors are considered to be experts of all forms of weaponry; considered equal rank with MGSGT (the right-hand).
Oversee basic training program. Develop battle tactics and strats and call meetings w/ other MGSGT's and 1SGT's to discuss. Brief MSGT and GSGT on game strats. Last rank before an officer - must be able to lead others of lower rank without (much) help from a commanding officer.
SGTMJC - Sergeant Major of the Clan This rank acts as a liaison between the members and the officers. Members obtaining this rank have shown a true dedication to the clan and its members.    


 
Warrant Officer (WO) Rank Structure:

WO-1 - Warrant Officer 1 Artillery Systems Specialist A WO1 is expected to be able to handle all types of artillery engagement on the battlefield. This includes, but is not limited to, defgun placements, mobile artillery vehicles, and naval artillery installments. A WO1 shall be able to handle any given spotting location, and execute a precision barrage of the designated target(s) in the area. Following a review of your application, you will be tested on a map to be determined by the officers that will validate your ability to use the methods of artillery. Should you exceed expectations, and the rest of your application is in order, you can achieve this rank. Must be of rank CPL or higher to apply.
WO-2 - Warrant Officer 2 Naval Systems Specialist A WO2 is expected to be able to handle artillery engagement from a naval vessel equal to or greater than that of a WO1, in addition to being able to handle all other naval vessels supremely. This includes, but is not limited to, ship vs. ship engagements, submarine and anti-submarine abilities, ship vs. aerial attacking engagements (be it main gun on a DD, AA on a BB/AC, and PT Boats), and all aspects of the PT boats. A WO2 shall be able to provide naval support in any circumstance. Following a review of your application, you will be tested on a map to be determined by the officers that will validate your ability to use the methods of naval combat. Should you exceed expectations, and the rest of your application is in order, you can achieve this rank. Must be of rank CPL or higher to apply.
WO-3 - Warrant Officer 3 Armor Systems Specialist A WO3 is expected to be able to handle all types of armor vehicle combat. This includes, but is not limited to, light/medium tank usage and heavy tank usage. Knowledge of strong points and weaknesses of each armor vehicle, ability to repair armor, as well as defend from infantry anti-tank attacks are required. A WO3 shall be able to handle any given armor vehicle, accepting the inherent strengths and weaknesses, and exploiting those to your advantage against any other given armor vehicle and/or infantry unit. Following a review of your application, you will be tested on a map to be determined by the officers that will validate your ability to use the methods of armor vehicle combat. Should you exceed expectations, and the rest of your application is in order, you can achieve this rank. Must be of rank CPL or higher to apply.
WO-4 - Warrant Officer 4 Aerial Systems Specialist A WO4 is expected to be able to handle all types of aerial engagement on the battlefield, and have extensive knowledge and skill in all aerial vehicles of the battlefield. This includes, but is not limited to, air-to-air combat, air-to-ground combat, air-to-sea combat, dive bombing, torpedo bombing, precision carpet bombing with NO team casualties. A WO4 shall be able to handle any enemy attack, and know when and how to engage or disengage a battle. A WO4 is also required to pay close attention to the overall battlefield and provide air support as needed either before or as requested by teammates. Following a review of your application, you will be tested on a map to be determined by the officers that will validate your ability to use the methods of aerial combat. Should you exceed expectations, and the rest of your application is in order, you can achieve this rank. Must be of rank CPL or higher to apply.
WO-5 - Warrant Officer 5 Infantry Weaponary Specialist This shall be considered the hardest of the Warrant Officer ranks to obtain. A WO5 is required to be able to kill with any weapon, from any kit, from any country, on a consistent basis, while remaining alive. This includes, but is not limited to, sniping, artillery spotting, anti-tank engagement, vehicle repair, close combat with a knife, close to medium range combat with a pistol, close to long range combat with a rifle/machine gun, grenade precision throwing, ex-pack placement and detonation, anti-tank mine laying, and medical support. A WO5 will be considered an expert in all forms of infantry weaponology, and know what type of weapon will win versus another weapon in any combination (i.e. assault rifle from US Assault Kit vs. Japanese Medic Kit supplied machine gun; know who would win each time assuming player skill is equal and it comes down to the gun abilities themselves). You will be expected to know how many rounds each gun holds, how many extra clips come standard with a kit, how many ex-packs come standard, grenades, mines, anti-tank rounds, the range of each weapon, and effectiveness against any given target on the battlefield (ground vehicles, air vehicles, naval vessels, static/mounted weapons, etc). Following a review of your application, you will be tested on a map to be determined by the officers that will validate your ability to use the methods of infantry weaponry. Should you exceed expectations, and the rest of your application is in order, you can achieve this rank. Must be of rank CPL or higher to apply.


 
Company-grade Officer (CGO) Rank Structure:

2LT - Second Lieutenant First level officer Highly visible to the clan, practically daily interaction through either the forums, TS, game server, scrims, tourneys, etc. Must be able to resolve matters by working with other officers/lower ranks on conflicts. May lead clan briefings in the absence of higher ranking officers. This rank has been assigned to those in the Commanding Council, but is not limited to just them. Obtaining this rank can be done by demonstrating trust, leadership, accountability, and dedication to the clan. A strong desire and determination to keep the clan organized and healthy is a must.
1LT - First Lieutenant Second Level Officer Same requirements as a 2LT, but more involved with clan management aspects, accounting, server administration, as well as regular attendance in the game (main server, scrims, tourneys, etc). First Lieutenants will act as the Executive Officer during battle. May lead clan briefings in the absence of higher ranking officers. Second Lieutenants are usually promoted to 1LT after a pre-determined time of service as set by a LTCOL or higher.
CPT - Captain "Head man" in charge of soldiers. The Captain of the clan is the go-to-guy for all members, both on the field and off. Must be able to lead men into battle; well versed on all aspects of fighting; well versed in all theaters of war. The Captain is also one that any member should be comfortable going to when needing advise on clan-related topics. The Captain can also be referred to by the Commanding Council for clan-wide decisions that will affect his troops, and have the authority to approve/reject promotions and demotions. May lead clan briefings in the absence of higher ranking officers. Obtaining this ranks comes from length of time with the clan and development in all areas of war; lower ranks must feel confident in following the Captain into battle. Seen by Majors and above as able to professionally deal with the lower ranks on all clan issues. Entrusted by Majors and above to lead the clan into battle successfully, or risk being demoted.


 
Field-grade Officer (FGO) Rank Structure:

MAJ - Major Immediately superior to the rank of Captain and immediately subordinate to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Seen as an aid to the officers above (namely Lieutenant Colonels and Colonels), the Major is seen as the senior ranking officer on the field leading squads into battle. Majors will assist the Commanding Council in clan-wide decisions and have the authority to approve/reject promotions and demotions. Majors can act as liasons between other clans and help resolve disputes/issues both within the clan, and with other clans. Promotion from Captain will be determined by length of service in the clan, ability to lead during scrims/tourneys, and will be decided upon by a Lieutenant Colonel or higher.
LTCOL - Lieutenant Colonel Reserved rank for the most senior of members still active with the clan. Expert understanding of the art of war for the clan; able to lead any rank, any time, under any circumstances. Will be expected to provide input in all clan-wide decisions, and have the authority to approve/reject promotions and demotions. The LTCOL can act within his best judgement in the absence of the COL. Can only be promoted to this rank by equal or higher ranks, and seen fit by 2/3 majority vote of the lower ranked officers.
COL - Colonel Highest ranking officer before becoming a general. Executive decision maker for all clan-wide issues, authority to approve/reject promotions and demotions, over-sees all clan activities. Can only be promoted to this rank by equal or higher ranks, and seen fit by 2/3 majority vote of the lower ranked officers.
