The 5th hosted The 56 Fighter Group on Faid pass as a SOV Tourney Week 2 make-up match.

Storming out of the gate, the 5th took 2 flags early on & started the bleed, but the 56 put together a furious comeback & the 5th squeaked by 18-0 rnd 1 win

Rnd 2 saw the 56 as Allied & take complete control. They held 2 flags for most of the rnd & won 146-0

56 chose Allied for the rnd 3 tie-breaker. This was a tough fought rnd as the 5th took control early & held a brief lead, but the 56 showed their expierence & won
the rnd 91-0 & the match 2-1. gg 56. Hope we meet again in the SOV playoffs

The 5th hosted the Soldier's Of Virtue on Liberation Of Caen in a week 3 SOV Tourney match.

On Axis, the 5th never lost the south flag, but heavy fighting in the city made it close to the end. The 5th finally held on for a 74-35 win

As Allied, the 5th took control of the city and surrounded the SOV at the south flag like the L.A.P.D. on a 503, winning the round 103-70.

5th reduces enlistment age to 16

Attention:

In an attempt to boost recruiting, The 5th Marines have reduced the enlistment age from 18 to 16.

We realize there are some fine soldiers that play on our famous BF 1942 Midway 24/7 server, but are under 18.

New Requirements for 5th [REC] Tags:

Age Limit: 16 (If applicant is younger, he must be exceptional to be considered)
- Must be Mature
- (2) 5th members recommending
- Previous clan experience a plus
- Above average gaming skills a plus

If recruits meet these requirements:

- You will be issued [REC] status & temporary access to our Teamspeak Channel
- Recruits must be active in TS for 2 weeks(extended evaluation period) before entering recruit tryouts.

This new policy will open the door for a few good men that are slightly younger than 18 & give them an opportunity to join ....the Fighting Fifth!

Call of Duty 4 News

Hello all,

The 5th went into their first scrimage with |SoK| tonight. Both the 5th and |SoK| fought hard and tirelessly for two rounds on Crash with headquarters under TWL North American rules.

We are trying to "test the waters" on different rule sets for future scrimages. We are still looking for more gamers to join us in our fun in our CoD4 server which is named [5th MR]Urban HC TDM. We are always looking for mature 18+ players for our CoD4 division.
