Gentlemen and ladies,

Please join me in congratulating our newest officers. 2LT JHudds and 2LT Ivie have joined the ranks as officers and will assist our clan in its future. Both of these men have been instrumental in our clan as of late, both working in the recruiting office. 2LT JHudds will assume the role of Commanding Officer of Recruiting, and 2LT Ivie will assume the role of Commanding Officer of our European Division. Please give these guys a big congrats when you see them on TS!

The 5th Marines hosted The Spider Pigs on Dambuster in a week 6 Re-Scheduled SOV Tourney match.

The 5th started as Axis & our strat worked like a charm. We were able to cap the Allied main, surround the Spider Pigs & bleed them out 188 - 0

Round 2 the 5th switched to Allies & it proved to be difficult. The Axis managed to cap our main & after a tough fight, they won the round 174 - 0

With the 5th up on points, we chose Axis for round 3 & the Allies were ready. After some tough fighting & Kordell Stewart losing his connection at the 5 minute mark, the 5th held on with 7 players, won the round 154 - 140 & the match 2 - 1.

Combat Readiness: Mechatails, Angel of Angels

Dambuster proved to be an unbalanced map in favor of the Axis side. Not a good tournament map.

The 5th is now 5 -1 & in 3rd place in the American Division with 2 matches left before the playoffs.

SOV Tourney - Midway

The Revolutionary Wake Clan hosted the 5th Marines on Midway in a week 7 SOV Tourney match.

The 5th started as Axis in Rnd 1, capped the Island and started off with the bleed, however Wake came back and slowly destroyed our Imperial Navy & won the Round 140 - 36.

Round 2 moved to the 5th's server & we came out on fire, capping all the flags and totally demolished Wake's Pacific Fleet 191 - 0.

Round 3 saw the 5th head back to Wake's server as Allied. Again, the 5th took total control of the Island, sea flags & won convincingly 166 - 42, marking up to this point, the greatest comback for the 5th Marines Regiment.

Combat Readiness: ¼dead, Jay, Angel Of Angels

This comback topped The Battle Of Korsun. It was a hard earned victory & the 5th showed great teamwork & resolve.

7PM Pacific 9pm Central time, 10pm Eastern.

SOV Tourney - Battle of Korsun

The Collective Conspiracy hosted the 5th on Battle of Korsun in a week 5 SOV Tourney match.

Wow What a round!

This was the most dramatic comeback the 5th have ever pulled out.

Starting as Allied with 6 starters & 2 back-ups, the 1st push was totally demolished. After capping the south flag, the 5th re-group under 1SGT Leadfoot's direction & assembled an all out assault on the city.

Serious fighting ensued & once we got into the city, the Collective Conspiracy's secret was revealed & the 5th's judgement was defeat at Korsun.

Round 2 was forfeit by Collective Conspiracy as they could not field 8 players.

This was a team victory in every sense of the word. Big Salute to Angel Of Angel's & Snipest for filling in & playing a solid round.
