Keep getting kicked by Punkbuster?

Battlefield 1942 News

Over the past couple of days many players have been kicked (myself included) from Midway by PunkBuster
Normally with message "TIMEOUT - trying to update PB client"

This is due to PunkBuster releasing two updates just recently.
For some players PunkBuster will update itself , For the rest of us, we need to go to
http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf1942.php
and follow their instructions. Make sure you download the correct file for your system.

I downloaded this file and saved it to
C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 1942pbhtm

Since doing this I haven't felt the Boot of PunkBuster :D

5th vs Pubbies

The 5th and the pubbies had a great time last time we played against eachother. Now here comes Round II. The 5th will represent! Will the pubbies come through this time?

Time: (1PM-PST) (3PM-CST) (4PM-EST) (9PM-UK Time)
Date: Sunday - Sept 7, 2008
Where: [5th MR] www.5thmrc.com/maps server and get on Public TS 207.44.180.164:9630 pass 5thmrc
Maps: Coral Sea and Berlin (No Tanks) (30 Minutes each round)
Tie-Breaker Map: Famous Moded Midway

Win Criteria: The team which has the most tickets wins the round. There will be two rounds per map (one on each side). If both teams win a round then the winner will be awarded to the team that had the most ticket difference. (Ex - Pubbies had 140 - 0 and 5th had 120-0, the winner would go to the Pubbies). If both teams win a map (ex 5th won berlin and Pubbies win Coral Sea), both teams will then play the Famous Moded Midway for 45 minutes and whichever team wins, wins the match. Now the team who had the most ticket difference gets to pick which side they will be on, on the tiebreaker map.

Battlefield 1942 Competitions

The 5th Marine Regiment is doing great in competition. With our recent invitation to the BFCL we are proud to be fighting amongst some of the greatest players in the game. After the rust was shaken from our backpacks from losing the first two matches in the 5v5 Infantry League we are up 2 wins in a row. Currently our record stands at 2 wins, 2 losses with our 5th match to be played on August 24, 2008 against The McCoys.

The SoV Operation Reignite Tournament has been played extremely well. We are currently ranked 2nd in points over 8 teams. We are currently in the playoffs with our first match to be held on August 17. With a win here we will be one win away from sweeping it all. I’m proud to be a 5th Marine! Keep up the great work! If you would like to fight in competition style play put in an application or if you are here for fun, that’s ok too! See you on the battlefield.
