Battlefield 1942 Servers:
Server rules for [5th MR] Midway Only, [5th MR] Training Grounds, & [5th MR] Custom Maps (http://www.5thmrc/com/maps)
1.) No Intentional Team Killing
This is self explanatory. If you team kill someone on purpose, you may be kicked or even permanently banned without warning. If you are the victim of a team kill, please tell an admin. If you team kill on accident, be polite and tell your teammate(s) you're sorry.
DO NOT TEAM KILL IN RETALIATION!!!
2.) No Intentional Team Wounding
This is self explanatory. IF you team wound someone on purpose, you may be kicked or even banned without warning. Even if it’s your friend and you are having some fun shooting each other, DO NOT DO IT!!! This causes others to think they can do the same.
If you are the victim of team wounding, please tell an admin.
DO NOT TEAM WOUND IN RETALIATION!!!
3.) No Shooting Friendly Vehicles
Do not intentionally shoot ANY friendly vehicle for ANY reason, be it tank, apc, jeep or plane. Just because you have been waiting on the carrier longer than someone else, who beat you to a plane, is NO reason to fire upon it
3A.) Inappropraite Behavoir
No firing weapons, throwing grenades, laying mines or expacs on friendly carrier with the intention of teamwounding, teamkilling or out of shear bordom. This type of activity only serves to incite bad behavior.
4.) Carrier Rules:
• DO NOT BEACH.....EVER!
• DO NOT cap sea flags with the carrier.
• DO NOT drive it off the map.
• DO NOT take it to the enemy's fleet spawn.
• DO NOT intentionally put the carrier in danger.
• DO NOT ram other ships with carrier.
5.) Do Not Beach Battleships
We understand this happens sometimes by accident, but some people beach them on purpose, rendering them vulnerable and immobile.
6.) No Chat Spamming
This is when you call out using the ‘F’ keys. Example, “enemy ship spotted” 1 or 2 times is plenty, more than that is extremely irritating. Another form of chat spamming is when you continually type line after line of in-game chat, making it difficult for others to communicate with their teammates or admins.
8.) No Abusive Chat Don't personally attack a player in chat. Everyone here is a person, treat them as one.
9.) No Inappropriate Names
If an admin finds your name inappropriate you will be asked to change it. If after a period of time, your name has not been changed, you will be kicked or even banned.
Any name that is insulting, racist or has references to sex or drugs will be deemed as inappropriate. Players with names under 3 characters may be asked to change their name to consist of more characters.
10.) No Inappropriate Language
Do no use inappropriate language on our server. Use of inappropriate language will get you kicked or possibly banned.
11.) No Recruiting
We do not allow ANY form of advertising or recruitment.
This includes advertising other servers (other then [5th MR] servers), clans or clan events or tournaments’ without prior permission from the [5th MR] Commanding Council. If you are doing this you will be asked to stop or you’ll be kicked or maybe even banned.
12.) No Hacking
If you are caught hacking, be it by Punkbuster or any other means,
YOU WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED!!!
13.) No Glitching
If you are caught glitching you may be kicked or permanently banned.
If you see anyone you feel is glitching please take a screen shot and post it in ban camp.
14.) Do Not Team Stack
This is when one team starts to lose and players on the losing team switch to the winning team, creating a very bad off-balance between teams. Stick it out and fight. That team obviously needs you.
15.) Do Not Vehicle Hijack
If someone is repairing a vehicle they were once driving, don't jump in it and take it as if it's yours. If they are repairing it and you do get in, you must surrender it to them upon request. This strictly includes submarines, ships, planes, and tanks. Because the submarine becomes a spawn point when the driver exits, please look at the mini map prior to spawning on it to make sure no one is on it, since they are probably repairing. You don't want to be left at sea w/ no vehicle since you MUST surrender the sub back to the driver! (the submarine is the spawn point out in the ocean w/ only 1 dot to spawn on)
16.) Do Not Taxi Vehicles To Planes
This means do not drive a tank or apc to where the planes spawn. This takes a vehicle away from the war effort and can obstruct the runway for other planes. DO NOT DO IT! We know your reasoning... it's to get the plane before the "other guy" does. If you can't win the foot race, it wasn't meant to be.
17.) Do not intentionally ram planes into each other.
18.) Please do not idle in the server, come back when you are ready to play
19.) Please obey all admin requests.
20.) No Innappopriate Discussions
All discussions in the server shall be kept free of any Political, religious or sexual content. Please do not openly defy admin requests or inject into a discussion that is ongoing between an admin and another player. While we value your opinion, your postering will only inflame the situation and disrupt the game for everyone. If you feel the need to make a point, go to our forums and post your thoughts there and it will be discussed.
21.) Our servers are English Only.
22.) Attacking Uncappable Bases
No attacking uncaps until you HAVE ALL flags. This means once a flag turns white, you MUST LEAVE the uncap base. If you are there to steal something, you are doing it at your own risk. YOU CANNOT KILL WHILE IN AN UNCAP without all flags.
We reserve the right to kick or ban for any reason.
Battlefield 2 servers:
1.) No intentional teamkilling or TK punishing. This is self explanitory. IF you teamkill someone on purpose, you may be kicked or even permanently banned without warning. IF you intentionally cause someone to teamkill you and you punish, you may be kicked/banned w/out warning.
2.) No attacking uncaps unless you are spec-ops destroying commander assets. YOU CANNOT KILL WHILE IN AN UNCAP. Do not destroy vehicles in uncap including strafing runway and destroying planes/choppers.
3.) Do not taxi to planes or choppers. This means do not drive to where the planes or choppers spawn. This takes a vehicle away from the war effort and can obstruct the runway for other planes. Do not do it. We know your reasoning...it's to get the plane before the "other guy" does. If you can't win the foot race, it wasn't meant to be.

7.) We request that you squad up and play as a team. It improves gameplay for everyone and helps the commander.
